Meet stephanie

Stephanie launched SMWC (Stephanie McCarty Wardrobe Consulting) in the summer of 2015. Originally from Minneapolis, Stephanie relocated to Atlanta to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Marketing and Management from SCAD (The Savannah College of Art and Design). For the past 18 years, Stephanie has built her skill set in contemporary and luxury apparel retail spaces throughout Atlanta and Minneapolis. Stephanie has placed great value on the relationships she has fostered with her client base. The saying “quality over quantity” is the foundation of SMWC. 

Stephanie is a lifestylist which means she styles people for everyday life through the provision of custom wardrobe consulting experiences. Stephanie enhances the functionality within each wardrobe through organization, personal shopping, and 1:1 consulting. Stephanie knows what looks great and what doesn’t right away which has been highly beneficial throughout her career in the fashion industry. Stephanie has a creative yet practical eye for design and takes pride in her knowledge of fit. Her styling experience with both men and women of all ages and sizes, has given her the ability to find the perfect look for each client and fulfill their true wardrobe needs. 

Stephanie’s personal style in and outside of her closet is contemporary, elevated, and tailored. She believes true style is reflected through an overall aesthetic and lifestyle choices rather than solely focused on what one wears. Stephanie’s level of attention to detail in everything reflects how she approaches the journey of each of her clients. Stephanie has mastered exemplary service by prioritizing honesty during each session. Stephanie’s sole objective is to ensure that her clients feel and look their absolute best by fully committing to developing a wardrobe that is intentional and best suits their lifestyle. After all, self confidence is by far the best outfit.
